On a site like this it would be rude not to have a "me" section, so here goes...

I graduated from Napier University Edinburgh in 2008 with a BEng(Hons) in Computer Networks & Distributed Systems.  As part of my honours dissertation I studied and developed software for the Android mobile platform which was created by Google and the Open Handset Alliance.  I am currently back at Napier studying an MSc in Advanced Software Engineering.  Who knows, maybe I'll actually get a job in computing some day!
In the computing world I am particularly interested in Linux and other Open Source projects.   I also don't mind a wee bit of web development every now and then.

Outside of computing my main interests are Wu Shu Kwan (Chinese Boxing), photography and mountain biking.  This site is really just an excuse for me to show off some of my better photography work.  I'm always trying to improve and learn new techniques, hopefully this site will show how I'm progressing... I am currently running my own Wu Shu Kwan club just outside Edinburgh and hoping to grade for my second degree black belt at some point in the near future.
I am also involved with Penicuik Hunter and Lass and represented my home town as the Penicuik Hunter for 2007.  Many of the pictures in the galleries were taken at various Borders Festivals.
